NOW OFFERING PLACENTA ENCAPSULATION!

CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING BIRTH CLIENTS

The Cat's Outta the Bag....!

My family of four is going to become a family of FIVE in March 2020!

Of course, this means that my focus will be shifting and I will no longer be accepting any new doula clients at this time, though I DO intend to come back to Doula work.

I am currently still accepting orders for my A La Carte Services & Extras, and will continue to do so in 2020, so please feel free to scroll down to the services menu!

Also, if you are on the hunt for the perfect Doula to guide you through your birthing experience, I'm happy to refer you to some of my incredible colleagues.

I'm so honored and grateful for the families that welcomed me into their sacred birthing space, and I have learned and grown so much from each and every one of your inspiring experiences - Thank you.

And thank you to everyone who cheered me on in my work! Support, as you know, is everything to me & I'm so lucky to have been able to count on yours.

Here's to a new adventure

Prenatal visits are the cornerstone of my Doula care. We spend several visits together discussing your dreams & anxieties for your birth, and craft an individualized plan to help you navigate your birthing options and rights.

You can look forward to developing a bond with a care provider completely attuned to your specific needs and wishes, who will maintain a thread of continuity throughout your birthing journey.

Having a Doula support you during your birth has shown to reduce the risk of unnecessary intervention - including Cesarean birth - and increase overall satisfaction of the labor experience.

It's my pleasure, as a Doula, to provide continuous physical, emotional, educational support and comfort for the entirety of your birthing experience.

To ensure that you receive the best possible care for you and your newborn family, I will stay in close contact with you after your birth to provide support, assist with breastfeeding, and answer any questions you may have. All of these services can be provided to you in the comfort of your home. The birth of a baby, and parents, can be a powerful and overwhelming experience and my goal is to stay connected with you to help you thrive with your baby.

About Me

BIRTH MATTERS, BIRTH ROCKS!

As a Birth Doula, and mother of two, serving families of Santa Cruz County, it is my firm belief that a woman has the innate ability to bring her baby into the world and rock her own transformation into Motherhood, provided she is confident, informed, and encouraged.

My role in a family's journey to parenthood is to help instill and bolster that confidence, provide the information, and fully support the decisions made.

THIS is how women become empowered - THIS is how Mothers are born.

Professionally trained by CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association), I am honored to be serving families birthing at home, hospital, or birthing center.

I am continually inspired to witness and serve in the Rite of Passage to Motherhood through facilitating a calm, trusting birthing environment, and providing a safe, sacred space for the emergence of new life.

"Whenever and however you give birth, your experience will impact your emotions, your mind, your body, and your spirit for the rest of your life"
